Unveiled in July, the striking look pays tribute to the Air Coryell era, reflecting the bold, innovative spirit that defined the Chargers under Hall of Fame coach Don Coryell. During his tenure, the Chargers led the NFL in total offense from 1980 to 1983, revolutionizing the passing game and leaving a lasting mark on football history.
To complete the throwback theme, SoFi Stadium’s end zones will be painted in powder blue, showcasing the retro Chargers logo alongside a prominent “H” — a nod to the team’s early franchise identity.

L.A. will debut another sleek look when it hosts the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. Called the “Super Chargers” uniform, the all-navy ensemble blends nostalgia with innovation — featuring a refreshed helmet that mirrors the classic finish of a past era, paired with matching navy jerseys and pants.
The Chargers will also wear the all-navy look in Week 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium.
