Water release from Lake Nockamixon creates prime rafting conditions in Tohickon Creek | Pennsylvania News

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources released water this weekend from Lake Nockamixon into the Tohickon Creek, sending millions of gallons downstream.
That made for perfect conditions to go white water rafting.
The releases happen twice every year, once on the first weekend in November, and once in March, and the events bring out white water enthusiasts to Pennsylvania.
Most ride the rapids from Ralph Stover State Park 4 miles downstream to the junction with the Delaware River at Point Pleasant.
