Jeff Greene Relists Beverly Hills Estate for $195 Million

Of the 10 priciest homes across the country to hit the market last week, Southern California had six of them.

Beverly Hills’ 25-acre Palazzo di Amore estate is on the market once again, asking $195 million, The New York Post reported. The price works out to $3,679 per square foot and $7.8 million per acre. It was last on the market in 2017 with a $129 million asking price, down from the list price of $195 million in 2014, when it was the most expensive home for sale in the country.

The 53,000-square-foot home, at 9505 Lania Lane, has been a rental property for infrequent visitors like Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. As a rental, it cost about $425,000 per year.

The seller is real estate billionaire Jeff Greene. Erwin Nicholas II of Mr. Real Estate and Patrick Michaels of LA Estate Brokerage are handling the listing.

“It’s the biggest single property in Beverly Hills by far,” Greene told the outlet. “Once you get to our gate, it’s beautiful. It’s a long, double-wide, meandering road through the vineyards up to the top. You are completely secure.”

The 12-bedroom, 23-bathroom property has a 15,000-square-foot entertainment wing with a 50-seat movie theater, a bowling alley and a disco with a rotating dance floor. The primary suite has a living room, two walk-in closets and a Turkish spa.

The 6-acre vineyard on the grounds produces cabernet sauvignon and sangiovese wine under the label Beverly Hills Vineyards, and a wine-tasting room has temperature-controlled storage for 10,000 bottles.

Other nine-figure listings in SoCal include 10644 Bellagio Road in Bel Air, which is asking $190 million, per Realtor.com. The seven-bedroom mansion, known as Casa Encantada, is on an 8.4-acre property and features several dining rooms, orchards, a 60-foot tiled pool and a tennis pavilion.

The 18,400-square-foot property at 620 Arkell Drive in Beverly Hills is asking for $100 million. And a new-build at 3405 Fryman Road in Studio City, once the site of Alex Trebek’s home, is on the market for $42 million, as well as a Tuscan estate in Bel Air at 701 Nimes Road for just under $40 million.

Closer to the beach, there’s an 11,100-square-foot estate with Pacific Ocean views at 6 Mystique in Newport Coast on the market for $65 million. Ultra-luxury buyers can also look into a 13,600-square-foot estate at 670 Hot Springs Road in Montecito for $60 million.
