Modern Wealth Management (“Modern Wealth”), a national registered investment advisory (RIA) firm founded to meet the evolving needs of today’s financial professionals and their clients, today announced the hiring of Stephen Tuckwood, CFA®, as Director of Investments and Nicole Bittner as Head of Growth Operations. These new hires signify Modern Wealth’s commitment to building a robust investment platform and generating organic client growth through strategic lead generation and development.
Launched in April 2023, Modern Wealth is focused on acquiring RIAs in key locations across the United States. Its objective is to establish an integrated enterprise with a dedicated team of specialists who will assist advisors in providing comprehensive financial advice. Recently, Modern Wealth announced its first acquisition with the addition of Barber Financial Group, which advances the firm’s nationwide expansion strategy and development of its holistic client-service platform. Tuckwood and Bittner join Modern Wealth to complement and advance the firm’s growth strategy, focusing on investment management and lead generation, respectively.

Prior to joining Modern Wealth, Tuckwood was Vice President of Alternative Investments & Manager Selection at Goldman Sachs, where he was part of a team responsible for sourcing, performing due diligence on and onboarding external investment solutions for the firm’s Asset & Wealth Management Division. Tuckwood will now oversee Modern Wealth’s overall investment processes, help build out its investment platform and collaborate with current and future partners on developing strategic investment plans.

Bittner joins Modern Wealth from Goldman Sachs, where she most recently held the role of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Engagement. In this capacity, she facilitated successful lead generation, client conversion, and pipeline management by overseeing ongoing partnerships for financial advisors. With Modern Wealth, Bittner will focus on managing organic growth channels as well as building out a team responsible for delivering qualified prospects to the firm’s advisory teams.
