Adani Green Energy Ltd. reported its December quarter results on Friday, January 23, that were higher on a year-on-year basis.
Revenue for the quarter grew by 30% to ₹2,201 crore from ₹1,697 crore earlier.
Its Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter increased to ₹1,824 crore, a growth of 47.5% from last year’s figure of ₹1,237 crore.
EBITDA margin expanded by 10 percentage points to 82.9% from 72.9% last year.
Shares of Adani Green Energy are trading 12.1% lower on Friday at ₹791.7. The stock is down 33% from its 52-week high of ₹1,177.
Adani Group stocks have declined up to 12% in today’s session, following a Bloomberg report of the US Securities and Exchange Commission asking a district judge to let it use alternative measures to ensure that both Gautam and Sagar Adani are made aware of the legal action against them.
