MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – The import substitution platform of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange helps enterprises find business partners, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) Aleksandr Osmolovsky on the sidelines of the TIBO 2022 expo.
Aleksandr Osmolovsky said: “Today during the expo we would like to present our import substitution platform, which the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange has developed in-house. In my opinion, the platform represents the most effective and convenient tool for import substitution work. It has been appreciated by many Belarusian enterprises although the platform has been working for a week only. The results are already noticeable: over 750 deals worth over Br5.5 million. And it is only the beginning.”
Aleksandr Osmolovsky remarked that the import substitution platform makes search for business partners easier. “I think it will be popular and quite successful. It can be used to not only find Belarusian goods but notify manufacturers about what products you need,” the official said.
