Iowa Secretary of Agriculture visiting northern Iowa for Iowa Ag Week


MASON CITY, Iowa. (KTTC) – Iowa’s Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig, will be making several stops in northern Iowa Thursday as part of Iowa Ag Week.

Naig will start his day in Mason City, then move to Decorah and Postville.

According to Iowa officials, Secretary Naig will arrive in Mason City at 8 a.m. for the ‘Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce Ag Breakfast’.

He will then travel to Decorah, arriving at around 10:45 a.m. to visit Pinters Gardens and Pumpkins.

Secretary Naig will be in Postville by 1:30 p.m. to tour Enyart Dairy, which recently received a Choose Iowa Dairy Innovation Grant in 2025 to add robotic milkers and other labor-saving technology.

During these visits, he will tour farms and businesses to discuss ‘Choose Iowa’, a program of the state Department of Agriculture that promotes and supports Iowa-grown, raised and made food and ag products.
