UGI replacing natural gas mains in some Lancaster County neighborhoods through March | Local News
Sections of Elizabethtown can expect traffic and parking disruptions now through March as UGI Utilities completes a natural gas main replacement project.
Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project area includes:

North Poplar Street between West Summit Street and Mechanics Alley

Cottage Avenue between North Poplar Street and Peach Alley

West Summit Street between North Poplar and North Maple streets

North Peace Alley between West Summit and West Willow streets

West Hummelstown Street between North Poplar Street and North Peace Alley
-
North Peace Alley south of West Hummelstown Street
-
West Park Street from South Poplar Street to South Peace Alley
Those in the project area may experience lane and parking restrictions during work hours. There will be some interruptions to natural gas service that will require UGI to have access to properties to inspect and relight equipment.
Weather and working conditions may have an impact on the completion date. After underground work is complete, final paving and restoration will occur later.
