Details: Earlier, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak reported that searches were taking place at Galushchenko’s home and at Energoatom, Ukraine’s state-owned nuclear power company.

“NABU is conducting a search at Herman Galushchenko’s place. And they’re talking about Energoatom as well,” he wrote.

This information has been confirmed by two independent Ukrainska Pravda sources.

Ukrainska Pravda has requested an official comment from NABU, which will be published once received.

Ekonomichna Pravda also contacted the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) regarding the searches, but SAPO declined to comment on the investigative actions.

Later, NABU confirmed that it is carrying out a large-scale operation together with SAPO to expose corruption in the energy sector.
