Easypaisa Digital Bank Partners With FAST University to Advance Fintech Education

Easypaisa digital bank and the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) FAST University in Islamabad have joined hands to strengthen fintech education in Pakistan by bringing academic learning closer to real-world industry practices.

Through this partnership, senior professionals from the easypaisa team are teaching a specialized course titled The Fintech Lab: Product Design, Analytics and Emerging Trends for undergraduate Fintech and Business students at the FAST School of Management. The elective module covers product innovation, technology fundamentals, strategy, and artificial intelligence, giving students a comprehensive and immersive introduction to the fintech sector.

The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Farhan Hassan, Chief Digital Officer of easypaisa digital bank, and Dr. Sadia Nadeem, Dean and Head of the FAST School of Management. The signing took place during a ceremony attended by representatives of both organizations last week.

Farhan Hassan stated that easypaisa is committed to sharing expertise with both academia and the wider industry, helping shape the next generation of fintech professionals. He added that the partnership will connect classroom learning with real-world experience and encourage innovation among students.

“At easypaisa, we are constantly finding ways to share our insights and knowledge with the industry and academia. This collaboration particularly helps us cultivate the next generation of fintech leaders by equipping them with the right tools and awareness to succeed. This collaboration with FAST University bridges the gap between classroom learning and practical experience, allowing industry practitioners to share real-world insights and shape future innovators in the fintech space,” he said.

Dr. Sadia Nadeem highlighted that the collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to preparing students for the evolving digital banking and fintech landscape. She noted that the combined strengths of both institutions will support the future of Pakistan’s digital financial ecosystem.
