Kowloon’s Gate: Suzaku for Switch physical edition crowdfunding campaign launches November 11
JETMAN has officially announced the Switch version of Kowloon’s Gate: Suzaku, which was first confirmed back in December 2019, and will launch a Campfire crowdfunding campaign for the limited physical release on November 11.
Kowloon’s Gate: Suzaku is based on Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku, which was released for PlayStation VR on October 26, 2017 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 4 (flatscreen) via a free update on December 21, 2017.
The Switch version, which drops “VR” from the title, will feature enhanced graphics, new locations, and additional quests, including an event that ties into the story of the 1997-released PlayStation game Kowloon’s Gate.
According to the crowdfunding campaign description, JETMAN hopes to use the experience gained from the Switch release to remaster the original Kowloon’s Gate next, describing the campaign as the first step toward that goal.
