Local small businesses considering the use of crowdfunding to help fund a startup can learn about the process during a free, hourlong webinar starting at noon today.
The locally produced program will feature comments by James Thomsen, a small business consultant specializing in business management, funding sources and international trade.
Thomsen will join the show’s host, Kelly Bearden, director of Cal State Bakersfield’s Small Business Development Center. Bearden will open the webinar with a discussion of strategies for starting, growing and expanding existing businesses.
