Northwest Arkansas-based Caisson Capital Partners recently revealed the promotion of David Friedland to partner and the addition of Hunter Philbrick as a strategic advisor following a strategic investment from Philbrick.

“David is brilliant at identifying investment opportunities, and this is a well-deserved promotion,” said Bo Diamond, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Caisson Capital. “Hunter’s strategic guidance and partnership is a game changer. It is impossible to overstate the depth of his experience. We’re thrilled to have him formally onboard.”

In his new role, Friedland will continue to focus on investment sourcing and asset management across Caisson Capital’s target heartland markets. Since joining the firm in 2022, Friedland has been deeply involved in its investment activities. Before joining Caisson Capital, he managed development projects overseeing more than 900,000 square feet of new construction.

With over 20 years of experience in private equity, Philbrick will contribute to the firm’s growth through active involvement in investment selection and capital sourcing. Since 2013, he has been a partner at Hellman & Friedman, a global private equity firm managing over $120 billion in assets. Philbrick also serves on the boards of directors for HUB International, Cordis, Vantage Group and MultiPlan.

“I take a careful, long-term approach when investing and aligning myself with a company,” Philbrick said. “I believe the Caisson team has the skill and discipline to scale, and the opportunities in heartland housing investments are clear to me. I’m excited to help Caisson with its next phase of growth.”

Diamond added, “These strategic initiatives position us for growth. We see clear opportunities at this point in the real estate cycle, and we are now ready to take advantage of them.”
