Dallas-based private equity firm Crux Capital has added Ardi Sahinovic as director of business development, and Amanda Kennelly as vice president of administration, strategic hires that it said underscore a commitment to bolstering its capabilities and driving growth.
“The addition of Amanda and Ardi to our team reflects Crux Capital’s ongoing commitment to strengthening our capabilities and supporting our expanding operations. We are excited to leverage their expertise as we continue to grow,” Principal James Kay said in a statement.
Business development
Sahinovic will lead the firm’s origination efforts and support deal execution, investor relations, and capital formation.
“We are delighted to have Ardi join our team. His extensive experience in business development and his strategic vision will be instrumental as we continue to expand our portfolio and explore new investment opportunities,” Wayne Moore, managing partner of Crux Capital, said in a statement.
Sahinovic brings a wealth of experience to Crux, the firm said. He held a similar role at Roark Capital, an Atlanta-based private equity firm with $38 billion in assets under management. During his time at Roark, Sahinovic gained extensive experience working with multi-unit and franchise businesses.
“Crux has impressed me with its track record of creating value for its partner companies and investors. I feel privileged to join this growing organization and look forward to what we can build, together,” Sahinovic said.
Sahinovic started his career as a management consultant for Deloitte after completing two years of nonprofit work for Teach for America.
Administrative management
Kennelly brings over 15 years of administrative support, project management and office management experience to the firm. Crux said.
She spent 10 years as an office manager at Renovo Capital, a private equity firm in Dallas. Before that, Kennelly worked in similar roles at other investment firms.
Crux Capital said that with these appointments, it is well-positioned to continue its trajectory of growth and success.
