IFM Investors’ former private equity team to raise $500 million for new Black Kite Partners fund


IFM Investors’ former private equity team has rebooted and is working on raising around $500 million for a new fund after securing the minority backing from specialist investment manager Scarcity Partners.

Now known as Black Kite Partners, the new firm was established last week, months after IFM, which manages about $260 billion on behalf of industry superannuation funds, decided to exit private equity.
