- Foster will be managing partner of the new Willkie office that opened in May with a private equity team from Haynes and Boone.
- Foster, who is the ninth lateral partner to join Willkie in Texas since the beginning of 2023, said the firm plans to continue hiring in Dallas.
Willkie Farr & Gallagher has hired J. Holt Foster III, the co-leader of Sidley Austin‘s global energy practice, as managing partner of its new Dallas office, which opened in May.
Willkie chairman Thomas Cerabino said in a news release that Foster is the “ideal person” to lead the Dallas office because of his diverse practice, leadership skills and entrepreneurial bent.
