Phablo.ai, a B2B SaaS start-up co-founded by Kozhikode based Tharak Sreedharan and Germany’s Marc Gerlach, has secured $125,000 in a pre-seed funding round from Singapore-based global venture capital firm Antler.
The Singapore-headquartered start-up, with operations across India, Europe, US and Africa has built an AI-powered platform designed to automate and streamline the complex regulatory and compliance workflows for life sciences companies. The venture aims to solve the industry’s reliance on manual processes and non-standard documentation, which often leads to high costs and delays in bringing products to market, said a press note.
The funding followed an intense, selective process at Antler, which the founders cleared within two months of building their initial product and demonstrating early traction.
“The capital will be allocated towards building our core product, early-team hiring in India and Europe, and forging strategic partnerships for global growth,” said Tharak Sreedharan.
Phablo.ai, which already has a tech and product team in India, aims to expand across the EU and US, raise up to $1 million to close its pre-seed round, and onboard its first 100 paying customers over the next two years.
