What's New In Investments, Funds? – CAIS, Orion

The latest news in investment offerings, financial products and other services relative to wealth advisors and their clients.

Orion, which provides
wealthtech solutions, has chosen CAIS to provide Orion’s wealth
advisory and outsourced chief investment office clients access to
alternative investment funds and products for diversifying
client portfolios and deepening client relationships.

CAIS is an alternative investment platform for independent
financial advisors.

“CAIS is aligned with Orion’s commitment to supporting the
independent advisor community, given their industry-leading
technology, broad selection of funds, robust online educational
platform, deep technology integrations and independent due
diligence relationship with Mercer,” Natalie Wolfsen, Orion’s
chief executive, said.

Orion plans to expand access to Orion Portfolio Solutions and
Orion Advisor Technology clients “soon,” according to a
press release about the partnership.

Demand for alternative investments is rising. A recent
CAIS-Mercer survey of more than 250 independent financial
advisors found that 85 per cent of them expect to hike
allocations to the area by 2025, with 78 per cent saying it helps
clients meet goals and objectives.

Orion services, which has $4.1 trillion in assets under
administration and $65.9 billion of wealth management platform
assets (as of December 31, 2023), supports over six million
technology accounts and thousands of independent advisory
firms.

Founded in 2009, CAIS supports more than 32,000 advisors who
oversee more than $4 trillion in network assets.
