We Founder Circle Emerges as Largest Angel Investor Network | AsiaTechDaily

Founders-led investment firm We Founder Circle (WFC) announced on Monday that it has become the largest angel investor network in the country by investing in 103 deals across 82 startups in 2023. This accomplishment adds to WFC’s track record, as the firm has now invested in 207 deals across 162 startups within three years of operations.

We Founder Circle (WFC) has revealed that it is currently engaged in five partial exit discussions in advanced stages involving corporate venture capitalists and acquisition offers. 

WFC’s broad appeal is further evidenced by the diverse and global community of investors associated with the firm. Over 1,000 investors from over 400 cities across 40 countries actively participate in WFC’s investment initiatives. 

Neeraj Tyagi, Co-founder and CEO of We Founder Circle spoke to the media through their official release. “We have built the technology-driven global investment and networking platform Invstt.com for the startup and investor ecosystem and have also supported it with two angel funds,” he said. 

WFC aims to escalate its investment activities in the coming year. While the firm invested in over 100 startups in 2023, it has set a formidable goal of supporting at least 200 startups in the next year. 

The firm actively supports startups in diverse sectors, including deep tech, Web3, fintech, health tech, agri-tech, EV, and D2C, showcasing its versatile approach to nurturing entrepreneurial ventures.

Gaurav VK Singhvi, Managing Partner of Avinya Ventures and Co-founder of We Founder Circle shared their advancement through establishing Avinya Ventures. This venture introduces a unique stage funding investment ecosystem meticulously designed for early-stage investments. 

In parallel, WFC’s global accelerator program, EvolveX, has been actively involved in supporting the startup ecosystem. In the past year, EvolveX, under the WFC umbrella, has invested in more than 25 startups. The program’s proactive engagement highlights its dedication to identifying and nurturing promising ventures, contributing to the success and scalability of these startups in the competitive market landscape. Several of these startups initially seeded through EvolveX, have demonstrated growth, securing subsequent funding rounds. 

Bhawna Bhatnagar, Co-founder of We Founder Circle and leader of EvolveX articulated the firm’s ambitious vision for the upcoming year. “Next year, we aim to invest in even a higher number of startups across technology domains,” said Bhawna Bhatnagar, she added.
